"The risotto with shrimp was SO good, highly recommend. Service was slow - maybe because we went at 2pm which was not a prime lunch time. Be careful with the mosquitos, make sure you ask for bug spray to spray all over yourself and the area around you. We got 10+ mosquito bites within 5 minutes after sitting down…"

"The most delicious food. Excellent service. Great prices. Awesome atmosphere. I'm a repeat customer. Love it every time. The fresh Vietnamese rolls and the onion soup are an excellent starter. The meat dishes amazing. And the chocolate cake to die for."

"This place could be so much better, the food in general was excellent, the bread was delicious and the deserts scrumptious, but how can you have a French restaurant without champagne. For this they lost a star. We wanted to celebrate our purchase of an apartment nearby and thought a French restaurant would definitely have a bottle of champagne. But no. No champagne or sparkling wine. So we settled for a bottle of Finca Las Moras Chardonnay from Argentina and sparkling water to make the first glass sparkle slightly. We ate Rollitos Veitnamitas - 2 Salmon and 1 veggie, both were delicious, and followed with Filet Mignon, which my wife loved and Blanquette De Veau which I loved. My sister opted for Crema de Calabaza soup. We finished with Torta De Banano y Almendras, Pan de Chocolate and Cappuccino. We took home some more chocolate bread and a baguette. I cannot finish this review without mentioning the table place mats. The co-owner of the restaurant came by our table which was nestled in a quiet place in their garden, and explained the mats significance. (see the picture) The drawing in the center of the place mat is a medical textbook drawing of a components of a heart and each component is labelled with the name of a dish, the message being eat well and look after your heart. I think the other co-owner is a heart surgeon. I think we'll be back (our new apartment is quite close), mainly for the delicious bread and main course."

"The food & it's presentation was amazing. Loved it all, but . . . We would have truly liked a more "french" feel . . . Better furniture, pretty flowers, maybe french pictures or murals. The table cloth was more Italian than french."

"Le Sucre is a true gem, offering *the best French-style food in Cali* with a Colombian twist. Owned and run by a passionate chef, every dish reflects his dedication to excellence. The standout? Their *chontaduro crème brûlée*. This exclusive dessert blends French tradition with Colombian flavors and sells out almost instantly—there’s nothing like it anywhere else. Ex-pats will find a perfect fusion of familiar French dishes with a local twist, making it an ideal spot for a taste of home. The French bakery is equally unmatched, offering croissants and pastries rivaling those in Paris. With impeccable service, this spot is as much about ambiance as it is about food. It’s not just a restaurant—it’s an unforgettable culinary experience."

"We had a lovely time here. Although we arrived after 11:30 AM and before noon we were able to order lunch. The food was amazing and the music was cool. The service was great and we received recommendations to enjoy the food."

"While not technically a French restaurante, there was an attention to flavours and seasonings that are similar to that. The food was well prepared and the sauces that accompanied added to the overall quality of the plate. The restaurante is located on a quiet side street which allowed for sitting outside without disturbance from too much noise. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and I would return and recommend."
